Donate an Instrument

Got a musical instrument gathering dust? At Keys 4/4 Kids, we’d love to give it a new life in the hands of an eager student!

Donating your instrument does more than just clear out your closet; it fuels a love for music and provides opportunities for aspiring musicians who might not otherwise have access to an instrument. Your generosity directly supports our programs, helping us put instruments into the hands of those ready to learn and create.

Pathways for donated instruments

Instrument Placement

Your donated instrument may be gifted to an at-need student or organization. Every year we seek to distribute as many instruments as possible through this program. So spread the word!

Instrument Sales

Your donated instrument may be sold at our retail space in New Brighton to support our organization and its work. If you or someone you know is ever in need of a quality used instrument, be sure to send them our way!

Instrument Recycling

Your donated instrument might not be viable for reuse. This can be due to a variety of issues related to aging instruments. In these cases, the instrument will be disassembled and recycled.

Your tax-deductible donations are used in our charitable programs, events, and retail operation. Whichever path your instrument takes you can be sure your contribution supports children and the arts.
