Thank you for your generous interest in donating a piano to Keys 4/4 Kids! We gladly accept piano donations from within the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. By completing the form below, you’ll provide us with valuable information to ensure your piano finds the perfect program to support young musicians. After submitting your form, you can expect a personalized email response within two business days outlining potential donation options, follow-up questions, and scheduling possibilities.
For your convenience, we offer a professional piano pick-up service to carefully and safely remove your donated instrument from your home. Please be aware that this service involves a removal fee, which helps cover the costs of transportation and our expert team. For locations within 30 miles of our shop, this fee typically ranges from $175 to $500. For distances beyond 30 miles, an additional charge will apply, and we will provide you with an accurate quote for this fee once your form has been submitted.
To ensure the safety of our team and the integrity of your donation, we are unable to accept pianos that are dropped off at our location.

Pathways for donated pianos
Piano Placement
Your donated piano may be gifted to an at-need student or organization. Every year we seek to distribute as many instruments as possible through this program. So spread the word!
Pianos on Parade
Your donated piano may become part of our annual Pianos on Parade. Instruments are painted by students and local artists and placed on the street corners of Minneapolis and St. Paul for the summer months. These provide public music and gathering places for the community to enjoy.
Piano Sales
Your donated piano may be sold at our retail space in New Brighton to support our organization and its work. If you or someone you know is ever in need of a quality used piano, be sure to send them our way!
Piano Recycling
Your donated piano might not be viable for reuse. This can be due to a variety of issues related to aging instruments. In these cases, the piano will be disassembled and recycled.
Your tax-deductible donations are used in our charitable programs, events, and retail operation. Whichever path your piano takes you can be sure your contribution supports children and the arts.
